# Notifications

> Choose what Caard tells you about, and where.

Control notifications at **Settings → Notifications**. Each type can be delivered by **email**, **push**, or both.

| Notification      | When it fires                                             |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Lead activity     | A lead opens, clicks, or replies to your email            |
| New lead assigned | A lead is assigned to you                                 |
| Event updates     | Event status changes, completions, and performance alerts |
| Team mentions     | Someone mentions you in a note or comment                 |
| System alerts     | Important security events on your account                 |
| Weekly digest     | A Monday summary of your team's activity                  |

<Tip>
  During an event, keep **New lead assigned** push notifications on so you can follow up while the conversation is still fresh.

Push notifications on mobile also require permission from your device — check your phone's notification settings if pushes aren't arriving.
