# Lead enrichment

> Turn a name and email into a full profile automatically.

Enrichment fills in the details you didn't capture. From a name, email, or LinkedIn profile, Caard looks up the person and their company and adds what it finds to the lead.

## What enrichment adds

* **Contact** — verified job title, email, phone, location, LinkedIn URL
* **Company** — industry, size, headquarters, founding year, funding, website
* **Extras** where available — legal name, stock symbol, founders, acquisitions

Enriched data also powers [ICP scoring](/leads/icp-scoring), so well-enriched leads get more accurate fit scores.

## When it runs

* **Automatically** on capture for most sources — a LinkedIn QR scan, for example, enriches immediately.
* **On demand** — open a lead and select **Enrich with FLOW**.

## Enrichment status

Every lead shows where it is in the process:

| Status       | Meaning                                |
| ------------ | -------------------------------------- |
| Not enriched | No enrichment has run yet |
| Enriching    | A lookup is in progress                |
| Partial | Some fields were found, others weren't |
| Enriched     | The lookup completed                   |

You can filter the lead list by enrichment status to find leads that still need data.

<Note>
  A lead can stay **Enriching** for a few minutes during large batches. If a lead seems stuck for much longer, it will be picked up and completed automatically — no action needed.
</Note>

## Re-enriching

Running **Enrich with FLOW** again refreshes the data without wiping what's already there — existing fields are updated, not deleted.
